Throughout my life, I have worked with multiple sports, but this was my first season ever working with a football team. I had no idea what to expect, but I was excited about the new journey. Football is more than just a game; it's a bond, and it goes beyond the football field. Seasons come and go, trophies will begin to collect dust, and titles will soon be forgotten, but the bonds created during these specific moments last forever. I am thankful to have friendships and professional relationships with such authentic and passionate people. There have been tears, anger, and laughter all in one season. Family is more than blood. Family is more than a last name. It is defined by love and respect for one another.
When I was growing up, there came a point in time when I transitioned from solely analyzing my own athletic performance to dedicating myself to helping others perform at the highest level. I never quite grasped the idea that my dream career could bring me so much growth and joy. The best things in life come when you are unprepared or not even looking. I may not have liked the constant 5 a.m. mornings, late nights, 95-degree weather, or 30-degree weather, but it taught me discipline. I had to sacrifice a lot of sleep and social time, but if you are not doing what you love, you are wasting your time. I am excited to see where sports medicine will take me over the next decade.
